Every woman will experience the menopause. To put that into context, around 15.5 million women in the UK today are at some stage of the menopause transition (perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause) – that’s almost half of the UK’s female population.

In 2021, the average life expectancy for a woman in her 50s is, thankfully, 87. But this means she could spend at least 40% of her life postmenopausal – that’s a whopping 36 years! Every woman is entitled to enjoy this time feeling as healthy, happy, and flourishing.

Better breathing, or harnessing your breath has a host of physical, mental and emotional benefits.   Facing brain-fog and memory - it gets all your organs, including your brain, operating at optimal levels, so you can focus and concentrate better.  Struggling with insomnia? By activating your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) throughout the day and using patterned breathing, you can ensure you get to sleep and stay asleep.  Experiencing feelings of anxiety and mood swings - You can use breathing to quickly calm your nervous system and help you better deal with the ups and downs of menopause.
